Meet the Artist

Fernanda Cov known as Bruja Burbuja is an artist born in Mexico City. Started as a dancer at a young age where she found her passion for art and movement. She continued her career as a dancer and became a choreographer and professional dancer at 15 years old. Combining her love for arts and media, she focused on becoming a ceramic artist  in 2016 while living in London.  In 2017 she created Anika Feeling and illustrated character present on her art expression that explores deeply everyday feelings. In 2019 she moved to Todos Santos BCS where she opened I AM A BOOKSHOPQRSTUVWXYZ and her art studio La Clay Factory in Pescadero.

She is currently working on ceramic sculpture exploring movement and conceptual art through mixing film and ceramics. Her work explores emotional existence and deep philosophy throughout shape, time, illustration and form. Being a Product Designer she combines her obsession for industrial materials, robotics, and functional engineering with ceramic processes to imitate materials and create sculptural statements inspired by human experience concepts, art itself, and a naive perspective towards daily reflections.
