Meet the Artist:

THE “IMPRESSIONS” SERIES: In this work I am interested in making visual images that are not literal or documentary but emphasize the feeling of memory and how our imagination “imprints” or views a particular thing. There is a classic element in these impressions you may notice by observing the subject matter contained within these images. Certainly, many places photographed in Europe, the States and Mexîco have an ancestral presence and history. There is mystery surrounding these landscapes, people or ancient building fragments.  Inspired by the essence and beauty of this I continue my interaction and presence through photographic images. It makes me wonder, what has been lost, what has been retained?
