Loren Etengoff

Meet the Artist

Loren Etengoff is a woodworker whose unique journey from courtroom to workshop shapes his creative vision. After a 38-year career as a trial attorney, Loren retired in 2018 and discovered his passion for woodcraft, beginning with cedar strip kayaks.

Inspired by the Pacific Northwest’s forests and coastlines, Loren expanded his artistry to create signature hardwood river tables and wall art using live edge wood and epoxy resin. His work further evolved as he began splitting time between the Pacific Northwest and Baja California Sur, infusing his pieces with influences from both regions.

Loren’s art bridges his past precision as a lawyer with his present creative freedom. Each piece reflects the serenity of forests and oceans, the power of oceans, and the raw beauty of natural materials, inviting viewers to experience the diverse landscapes of North America’s western coast through his craftsmanship.
