Chris’s interest in fiber began in high school when she was introduced to her first spinning wheel. The feel of fiber through fingers expanded to include working on a tapestry loom. Chris has gathered different natural materials for use in her art including Iceland sheep wool, colorful tapestry wool yarns and alpaca roving from her own small herd of alpacas.

Her style is a playful and organic incorporation of elements like straw flowers and embroidery to create visual interest. All pieces are unique, reflecting hundreds of hours of love.
