Meet the Artist:

Emiliano Hernandez-Campbell (b. 2001, Guadalajara, Mexico) is a painter who blends contemporary imagery with the vast tradition of oil painting to create something fresh and original. Emiliano’s creative process involves an in-depth exploration of imagery from different cultures and time periods, from which he draws inspiration, in an effort to explore how imagery can resurface from the past and the way it can exist in the context of the present. His paintings depict characters and surreal scenes that delve into the strange and humorous. He studied at the Beaux Arts de Nantes in France and currently works in Todos Santos.
