Meet the Artist:
Germán Mesa Parodi is a rebel without a cause; he fell from a shipwreck a few years ago and washed ashore on La Máquina beach. He spends his days in a studio, talking to stones and transforming, through a multitude of alchemical techniques, the precious metal of silver into strange, sumptuous contraptions of endless aesthetics, which come into the world with no other purpose than to exalt the vanity of those noble-hearted souls who dare to offer their fingers, wrists, necks, ears, ankles, and even other more immoral parts of their bodies, as galleries for these pieces to inhabit.
His works number in the thousands and have been exhibited throughout much of Latin America.
Art sometimes visits him.
