Meet the Artist:
I am very excited to be part of the Studio Tour this year. I have been practicing and studying ceramics since retiring from the United States 5 years ago. I feel fortunate to have landed here in Baja Sur, and find the people and environment inspirational. My forms are a combination of wheel thrown and hand built. I prefer handbuilding as it allows for more sculptural freedom. Inspiration is all around in the natural world and my pieces are tactile, embrace natural elements, and organic.
