Meet the Artist:
Roberta Booth is an artist from New York City and longtime resident of Baja MX She studied at The School of Visual Arts and Art Students League
In the 1960’s she opened her photography studio in NYC and worked worldwide becoming an internationally recognized fashion-beauty portrait and advertising photographer most recently was a participating artist in The Florence Biennale in Italy
In 1980 she entered the emerging medium of 3-D Holography working with the inventors of the field and gaining recognition for her innovative explorations of light color and dimensional form as well as using LASER lights as a healing modality
She has received numerous grants and curated and produced holographic Museum exhibitions produced the 1992 Olympic holographic ticket for Barcelona and is one of the featured artist in Al Razutis film on “West Coast artist in light” and co-produced a book “Space Light” (Doubleday)
Roberta has a deep belief in the healing , spiritual and transformative power of light color and energy
She hopes her work invites viewers into a contemplative space where light becomes both medium and message
